Content Workflow Process Outline

A.T.M- Authorized Team Member who makes decisions on content strategy and approvals

 

  • Content is created
  • Raw content is entered into the server
    • FNC Key made available
  • A.T.M. fills out a strategy template which answers all necessary questions to establish the plan for the content
    • Strategy template made available
  • The strategy template then triggers actions from the necessary team members
  • Team members finish tasks in the order that the template calls for
  • After task is done the team member either sends for approval or renders the task complete
    • Micro Approval Template made available for these options
      • This is one on one with team member and A.T.M. to revise the task until it is complete
  • Once approved, the content moves to the next assigned task in the workflow
    • Need variation in flow design for tasks that can be done simultaneously by different team members, as well as tasks that require collaboration of team members
  • Once the processing phase of the workflow is complete, Traciana, or A.T.M., will fill out the Macro Approval Template
    • Macro Approval template made available
      • This is an overall approval phase and will be used after all previous tasks have been completed
      • If not approved this will send it back to the appropriate place in the workflow
      • Goal is to keep MicApp limited
  • Once the content has final approval, A.T.M. fills out Publishing Workflow Template and properly archives the content
    • Publishing Workflow Template made available

Workflow Assets List

 

  1. F.N.C. Key– Document for naming files
  2. **Strategy Template**– Checklist that gives all of the information needed and begins the process of assigning tasks
  3. Micro Approval Template– Checklist that either approves an individual piece of content or requests a revision
  4. Macro Approval Template– Checklist that either approves the entire finished product or requests a revision
  5. Publishing Workflow Template– Checklist that gives all of the information needed for releasing the content. This triggers the Publishing Workflow

 

STRATEGY TEMPLATE ELEMENTS

 

  1. Choice of what content will be
  2. Instructions that can be in checklist form such as length
  3. Field for special instructions that are custom for specific piece of content
  4. Style guide attached for content
  5. Team members assigned to pre determined tasks
  6. Links to all raw content
  7. Links to all pre-existing elements (drops etc.)
  8. Field for post production ideas and comments
